Deadstock (never worn) Womens knits & sweaters 1940s-1980s (50 pieces)

Condition: Unworn/Grade A-B-C

The reason Grade B-C are included is because these may be dusty OR may have small rust marks from the old staples that have been holding the tags on for 40+ years. While we try to watch for any serious damage, we may miss something. We do send a little extra to cover that.

You should expect to clean. They may come in their original packing (plastic bags) and that packaging can be dusty even if the item is not. This is a group of NOS (new old stock, aka deadstock) women's knits: vests, sweaters, and cardigans, ranging from the 1940s through the 1980s. All sorts of styles and colours but overwhelmingly there are a lot of white. Many are acrylic, but I've seen wool, nylon, cotton, and ramie as well.

These knits came out of a NYC clothing store that shut down in the mid-1990s and all the clothing was put into warehouse storage. We bought the entire collection! The original owners had been in the wholesale clothing business since the 1940s and lots of wild stuff was boxed away until we uncovered it. There is nothing wrong with these knits except that they may be dusty. We just have a lot of them and we're offering this cheap deal to make some room in our own warehouse. This price will not last!
